ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Southern California, I'm now a senior at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I'm currently studying to receive a double major in Communications: News Media and Spanish. In March, I returned from a Global Communications Study Abroad to New Zealand where our team reported on minorities and individuals fighting to overcome challenges. I'm currently working with another BYU reporting team to document anti-poverty efforts in Santiago, Chile.

I was employed as a senior reporter for BYU's newspaper, The Daily Universe, as a clerk and social media manager for the BYUPD and as a news writing intern for KSL.com. I'm currently working as a web reporter for KSL.com.

I like to read, write, teach, swim, travel, play the piano and sing. I also served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southern Chile where I learned to speak Spanish fluently.
